NHRA announced today that it will once again give its great legion of dedicated fans an opportunity to become winners during the season as it unveiled the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Sweepstakes. The Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Sweepstakes will allow one NHRA fan to win a brand new retro-inspired Ford Mustang GT Premium, one of the most widely recognized, respected and desired muscle cars in the automotive industry.
The Sweepstakes kicks off on Feb. 14, during the start of the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing season with the 53rd annual O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals presented by Super Start Batteries at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.
Fans can enter to win the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Sweepstakes by logging on to NHRA.com or at kiosks that will be set-up at every NHRA national event track during the 24-race season. Entries close at midnight (ET) on Dec. 6 with winners announced thereafter. Residents of the United States/Washington, D.C. who are at least 18 years old can enter the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Sweepstakes.
In addition to $34,300 Ford Mustang GT Premium grand prize, NHRA will award other prize winners during the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Sweepstakes. First prize is a 2014 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide motorcycle. The second prize is a 55” Cinema 3D LED TV with SMART TV from Brandsource. Third prize are two Traxxas 1/8 Scale R/C Funny Cars: John Force and Courtney Force Editions and one Traxxas DTS- 1 Drag Timing System.
