VP RACING FUELS SELECTED AS OFFICIAL SUPPLIER FOR LIME ROCK PARK

Lime Rock Park has chosen VP Racing Fuels, the world leader in its segment, as its Official Racing Fuel as part of a five-year agreement beginning in 2012. With VP designated as the track’s exclusive fuel supplier, the fueling station in Lime Rock’s B Paddock will pump VP’s VP100 Unleaded, VP110 Leaded and C12 Leaded (112) for racing competitors, as well as an unleaded 93 octane for track-day customers. The agreement also includes new pumps and VP signage.

“In the motorsports world, VP is clearly the leader in racing gasoline,” said Skip Barber, Lime Rock Park president. “As the Road Racing Center of the East, I wanted Lime Rock to have the world leader in race fuel technology. With VP’s position as Official Fuel of American Le Mans and Trans Am, both of which we’ve hosted here at Lime Rock for years, this was a natural fit.”

"Lime Rock is a beautiful facility with a tremendous history,” said Jim Kelly, VP’s Director of Race Fuel Sales. “With our race fuel products now available at Lime Rock’s fuel station and our event race-service trucks on site, we’re looking forward to making power there for the next five years. We're very appreciative of Skip Barber's trust and honored to be working with the Lime Rock Park team."

The fuels now available at Lime Rock Park include:

VP100: Oxygenated with ethanol, VP100 is engineered as a replacement for pump gas, offering substantial power gains over premium unleaded in naturally aspirated applications or engines equipped with a turbocharger, supercharger or a nitrous oxide system.
VP110: Formulated for use in naturally aspirated engines with compression ratios (CRs) up to 12:1-13:1.

C12 (112): Arguably the best all-around racing fuel made, C12 is recommended for CRs below 15:1, satisfying the needs of 75% of today's race engines.
