VP NAMED OFFICIAL FUEL OF ICAR LATE MODEL SERIES

Officials with the ICAR Late Model Series announced a partnership with VP Racing Fuels making VP the Official Racing Fuel of the rapidly growing sanctioning body. VP will supply its powerful VP110 fuel as the Official Spec Fuel of the ICAR series.

“Racers throughout the motorsports industry have long looked to VP Racing Fuels for a performance advantage, including the drivers of the ICAR Top Speed Fabrication Modified Tour,” said Jason Rueckert, VP’s Regional Manager-Midwest.  “VP110 has the highest rated Motor Octane (MON) of any 110 fuel on the market and is one of the most popular leaded fuels VP has to offer.”  VP110 will be available at each event for purchase by racers at the track.

“We’ve used a variety of fuels in the past,” said ICAR series owner, Dave Muzzillo, “but racers love VP.  VP’s reputation within the world of motorsports and ICAR Series’ position of prominence in the Late Model Fraternity will surely combine for a noteworthy racing season. James Forrest and the rest of Jason’s team went above and beyond for us and we are very excited about our partnership.”

Circle Track Radio: Driver Highlight

Last Saturday night I headed out to Madras Speedway to spend time with the guys at FAB-TEK and the WRS series. But besides helping pit, part of my job is to always be looking around for good interview opportunities and dynamic drivers to be a part of the Circle Track Hour and I found one. Only 13 years old and fearless behind the wheel, Corey Hazen #10 Monte Carlo is one of these drivers.

It only took a couple of minutes to know that I had to get Corey on the program, but before I did that I wanted to share a entry with a little information and a couple action shots for the blog....and believe me, this kid can drive and FYI: that cars got a BBC in it.
